Around a decade after Jesus Christ Went to be with God the Father, Peter met with his first Gentile Cornelius. Read Act 10 closely, Peter had never had been in contact with any Gentiles before this. He being the leader at the time, What was the Great Commission? Was it for another time. When reading this, I knew the conventional interpretation was incorrect.
This timeline makes more sense and I think fits the rightly divided approach to understanding God’s word.
Keep in mind, this is not in the Bible. It is a creation by man to help us understand the Bible. There are many of these charts online today. Keep in mind, these help us understand rightly dividing the word.
What does the Bible say? There are only 4 verses on Dispensation in Paul’s epistles. Some charts appear to use those 4 verse to create a chart off the chart based on those 4 verses.
The 4 verses are as follows
[1Co 9:17 KJV]
For if I do this thing willingly, I have a reward: but if against my will, a dispensation [of the gospel] is committed unto me.
[Eph 1:10 KJV]
That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; [even] in him:
[Eph 3:2 KJV]
If ye have heard of the dispensation of the grace of God which is given me to you-ward:
[Col 1:25 KJV]
Whereof I am made a minister, according to the dispensation of God which is given to me for you, to fulfil the word of God;
This is where I am KJV Bible man. Many of the new verses of the Bible Change dispensation for other similar, I think less effective words.
Blessed Hope is by far the Best view of Hope and Heaven.
